Certified Surg Tech - Travel Job

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to expertly assist physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures. The CST will support patient safety by preparing the operating room, sterilizing and arranging instruments and equipment, and providing intraoperative support to the surgical team in an outpatient operating room setting in Denver, CO.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current NBSTSA certification (or equivalent national certification) required.
• Current DORA (Colorado) certification required.
• Minimum 1 year current acute care hospital CST experience in an operating room.
• Current BLS certification.
• Experience with Meditech EMR preferred.
• Experience with DaVinci robotic systems preferred.
• Transplant and spine experience preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Transplant (kidney/liver) procedure experience preferred.
• Spine and total joint procedure experience preferred.
• Prior experience in robotics, vascular, ENT, and plastics preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 0700-1700.
• On-call required on weekends. Typical on-call frequency is approximately 8-12 calls per 8-week period.
• 30-minute response time required when on-call.
• Operating room uses DaVinci robotics and Meditech EMR.
