Role Description The Leasing Consultant is a full-time, on-site role based in Charleston, SC, responsible for supporting occupancy and resident satisfaction at the community. This role includes greeting prospective residents, conducting property tours, explaining lease terms, and guiding applicants through the leasing process from inquiry to move-in. The Leasing Consultant will prepare and process leasing documents, maintain accurate records, and assist with lease renewals and resident retention initiatives. Day-to-day responsibilities also include responding to resident inquiries, coordinating with maintenance and management teams, and ensuring that common areas and model units are presentable. The role may involve handling basic marketing activities such as posting listings, monitoring lead sources, and providing exceptional customer service to both current and prospective residents. Qualifications Strong understanding of leases and lease administration, including explaining terms and completing documentation accurately. Experience supporting resident retention through relationship building, follow-up, and service-focused interactions. Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to engage professionally with diverse residents and prospects. Basic proficiency with property management software, email, and office productivity tools. Organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks. Ability to work on-site in Charleston, SC, including some evenings or weekends as needed. Prior experience in leasing, property management, or a related customer-facing role is preferred.
