Job Title: Registered Nurse - Emergency Department Profession: RN Specialty: ER Duration: 8 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Preferred in acute care facility License: Required Registered Nurse licensure in the state of practice Certifications: Required Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Must-Have: Recent EPIC experience Description: Provides high-quality healthcare services through coordinated nursing care. Delivers nursing care for patients according to established standards. Supervises and directs the activities of nursing staff. Coordinates care with other disciplines, utilizing critical thinking and independent judgment. Collects relevant data related to patient health or situation. Analyzes assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues. Develops a care plan with prescribed interventions to attain desired outcomes. Implements the care plan and coordinates care delivery. Employs strategies to promote health and a safe environment. Evaluates progress toward attaining health outcomes. Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers in delivering care. Provides learning opportunities for patients and team members. Shares health information directly with patients and families. Participates in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care. Delegates tasks appropriately and coordinates duties among the healthcare team. Performs additional job-related duties as assigned.
