Job Title: Registered Nurse - Emergency Department Profession: RN Specialty: RN - ER Duration: 8 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Recent experience in EPIC preferred License: Registered Nurse (RN) Certifications: - Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification - Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification - Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification Must-Have: Recent experience with EPIC Description: Provides coordinated nursing care for patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff. Coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking and professional judgment. Collects relevant data pertinent to the patient's health or situation. Analyzes assessment data in determining diagnosis and care issues. Develops a care plan that prescribes interventions to attain desired outcomes. Implements the care plan, coordinates care delivery, and promotes a safe environment. Evaluates progress toward attaining patient outcomes. Identifies desired outcomes for patients' situations. Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers in delivering care. Provides learning opportunities for patients and family members. Delivers health information to patients, families, and treatment teams. Participates in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care. Delegates and coordinates duties of healthcare team members. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Commits to the safety and well-being of patients and associates. Completes all required vaccinations as a condition of employment.
