This is a W2 position with our company Resolute LLC, supporting our client in Pomona, CA.

Current setting is Hybrid with 2 days in office and 3 days work from home. NOTE: May change in the future, must be ready for coming to office.

May require travel to job sites but infrequent overnight stays (travel cost maybe covered)

Project Management Specialist Sr.

• Need EXPERIENCED people who understand project life cycles and project management
• PROACTIVELY help their PM(s), reach out to project team members, and take responsibility for quickly learning the process.
• Must have prior project management coordination experience
• Responsible for taking meeting minutes and some of the other basic/admin tasks
• Identifies problems and solutions. Provides input to project objectives, timelines, risks, milestones, deliverables and budgets.
• Identifies and resolves issues and conflicts amongst team members and, if needed, escalates to Project Manager.
• Conducts analysis and prepares presentations
• Exercises independent judgment and discretion to advise and recommend courses of action.
• Applies advanced in-depth knowledge of project management support principles
• Proactive in addressing project team needs and reminders; good communicator, both written and verbally. Will be interacting and coordinating with outside agencies, licensing, and project teams.
• Recognizes verbal cues in meetings (action items, requests, additional meetings to be setup, etc.)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, OneDrive, Sharepoint
• Adept in Excel for advanced data manipulation
• Portfolio mindset (may be tracking ~100 projects)
• Associate Degree in applicable profession, business, or technical discipline or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Required five or more years of project support experience

Preferred Qualification:

• Prior Electrical Utilities Construction management support experience
• Project Management Certificate is a plus.
