This position calls for a compassionate and skilled RN to support a student with hypoplasia type 6 who requires specialized attention for seizures and g-tube feedings throughout the school day.

Key Qualifications:

• Active RN license, with experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
• Solid understanding of care for students with significant medical needs (hypoplasia, seizure disorders)
• Clinical proficiency with g-tube feeds and seizure management
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with staff, students, and families
• Ability to maintain detailed health records and implement individualized care plans

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 care for a student with complex medical needs, including monitoring for and responding to seizure activity
• Administer g-tube feedings and manage feeding equipment as directed by medical orders
• Follow and document individualized healthcare plans accurately
• Communicate regularly with counselors, educators, and parents/guardians to support the student’s well-being
• Respond to medical emergencies with calm competence
• Support the student’s participation in daily school activities, ensuring their safety and health at all times
