Description:
Unit staffing description includes a director, a manager, one supervisor/charge therapist per shift, and regular staff.
The type of equipment used in the unit includes high flow devices, 3100A, Bunnell, Servos, continuous nebulizers, nitric oxide, heliox, and regular nebulizers.
The documentation system is Meditech.
Floating policy may require coverage for regular adult floors for nebulizer therapy, BIPAP, CPT, etc.
Candidates with previous Meditech experience are preferred.
Advanced skills in current NICU/PICU experience are needed.
Respiratory Therapists provide treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with respiratory diseases utilizing advanced technologies and medication delivery.
Ideal candidates should be team players, critical thinkers, and focused on patient care.
A fast-paced, adaptable approach to change is essential.
Candidates should demonstrate a multidisciplinary approach to patient care and be collaborative in nature.
The required uniform is light gray, also known as silver.
