Maintenance TechnicianLocation: Hayward, CA 94545 Duration: 6+ Months Pay rate range: $55.00 - $60.00/hourResponsibilities:Support the creation and development of preventative maintenance procedures and standards under the supervision of the Equipment and Maintenance ManagerWork with equipment vendors to perform major maintenance procedures.Perform or manage the maintenance on all vehicle assembly equipmentRespond to downtime events, equipment alarms, and production related support requestsPerform root cause analysis on equipment and quality related issuesBuild solutions to recurring or anticipated problemsOrder tools, spare parts, and supplies for maintenance of existing and future equipmentTrain production staff on equipment best practicesDocument equipment changes and modificationsWillingness to support multiple local operations sites (Hayward and Fremont)Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree with 8 to 10 years of experience working with industrial automation, automotive shop equipment, automotive/aerospace assembly equipment, or equivalent or High School Diploma/GED equivalent with 12 to 14 years of experienceStrong electrical (12VDC to 480VAC) and mechanical knowledgeBasic knowledge of robotics, PLC's, pneumatics, hydraulics, vehicle lifts, and DC toolingGood computer skillsAbility to read 2D and 3D prints and schematicsAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionDesire to work with a small, flexible team of engineers and techniciansExperience with CMMS software (SAP desired).
