Environmental, Health, Safety (EHS) And Sustainability Initiatives LeadWork Schedule: Standard (Mon-Fri)Environmental Conditions: Loud noises (equipment/machinery), office, some degree of PPE (personal protective equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.), will work with hazardous/toxic materialsJob Description: Lead and shape Environmental, Health, Safety (EHS) and sustainability initiatives, driving a proactive safety culture across operations. Working closely with leadership teams, you'll develop and implement comprehensive EHS programs that protect people, environment, and communities while supporting business growth. Manage regulatory compliance, incident prevention, and continuous improvement efforts as we fulfill our mission of enabling customers to make the world healthier, cleaner and safer.Requirements:Advanced degree plus 6 years of experience, or bachelor's degree plus 8 years of experience in progressive EHS experience in manufacturing, laboratory, or pharmaceutical environmentsPreferred fields of study: Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related technical fieldProfessional certifications desired (e.g., CSP, CIH, CHMM, HVK)NEBOSH diploma or equivalent safety qualifications for international rolesComprehensive knowledge of EHS regulations, standards and best practices (OSHA, EPA, etc.)3-5 years supervisory experienceExperience conducting risk assessments, incident investigations, and root cause analysisStrong project management and budget oversight capabilitiesExcellence in stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaborationDemonstrated success in facilitating organizational change and continuous improvementProficiency with EHS software platforms and data analysis toolsOutstanding written and verbal communication skillsAbility to build effective partnerships at all organizational levelsExperience with ISO 14001 environmental management systemsEmergency response and business continuity planning expertiseTravel required 5-10%Compensation and Benefits: The salary range estimated for this position based in Connecticut is $103,100.00–$171,900.00. This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
