Contract Special Education Teacher – K–2 Resource/Inclusion
Location: Edenton, NC
Position Type: Full-Time Contract
We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher for a full-time contract assignment in Edenton, North Carolina, serving students in a K–2 Resource/Inclusion classroom.
This is an exciting opportunity to help establish a new classroom while working alongside experienced educators in a district known for its supportive culture and strong sense of community.

Responsibilities
Provide specialized instruction and support to K–2 students in a resource/inclusion setting.
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, related service providers, and families.
Monitor student progress and maintain required special education documentation.
Foster an inclusive, engaging learning environment that promotes academic and social growth.
Qualifications
Valid North Carolina Special Education teaching license or eligibility for licensure.
Previous elementary special education experience is preferred.
Bachelors degree or higher in either Special Education or any field related to students with special needs.
