IT Support Technician

NOC TechnicianThe NOC Technician is responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and supporting network and system infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and uptime. This role serves as the first line of defense in identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving network and system issues. The NOC Technician works in an operations environment, providing timely incident response, escalation, and communication to minimize service disruptions.Let's talk job responsibilities:Monitor network, systems, servers, and applications using enterprise monitoring tools to ensure uptime and performanceIdentify, troubleshoot, and resolve network and system incidents in a timely mannerRespond to alerts, alarms, and service tickets, documenting actions and resolutions accuratelyEscalate complex issues to higher-level support teams (e.g., engineers, vendors) as neededPerform routine maintenance activities, including system checks, backups, and updatesMaintain accurate logs and documentation of network performance, outages, and incidentsSupport implementation of network changes, upgrades, and deployments under supervisionCommunicate effectively with internal teams and stakeholders regarding system status and outagesFollow established SOPs, SLAs, and escalation proceduresPerform other duties as assignedYour experience and skills:Associate or bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field preferred4-6 years of experience in a technical support, help desk, NOC environment, or related fieldFamiliarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, routing, and switching)Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios, PRTG, or similar) preferredExperience working with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira, etc.)Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAttention to detail and ability to follow proceduresAbout IntegrityIntegrity is one of the nation's leading independent distributors of life, health and wealth insurance products.
