This position is responsible for providing technical ownership of manufacturing processes to ensure safe, stable, efficient, and high-quality production. The ideal candidate will have experience in process engineering, manufacturing operations, continuous improvement, and data-driven problem solving within a production environment.ResponsibilitiesServe as the technical owner for assigned manufacturing processes.Maintain process stability, control, and compliance with established specifications.Support production teams by troubleshooting complex process and equipment issues.Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions.Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, yield, and cost reduction.Analyze manufacturing data to identify trends, process variation, downtime, and yield improvement opportunities.Develop reports, dashboards, and process metrics using Excel and statistical tools.Create and maintain SOPs, work instructions, process documentation, and control plans.Support new product introductions, equipment validation, and process industrialization.Partner with Operations, Quality, Maintenance, Safety, and Engineering teams.Provide technical coaching and guidance to Process Technicians and production personnel.Maintain a strong manufacturing floor presence and provide occasional off-shift support as needed.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related Engineering discipline.Minimum 3 years of manufacturing or process engineering experience.Experience troubleshooting manufacturing processes using structured problem-solving methodologies.Knowledge of process control, process capability, variation reduction, and standard work.Comfortable working in manufacturing environments involving industrial chemicals.Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Microsoft Excel.Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.Preferred Qualifications5+ years of manufacturing/process engineering experience.Experience in coatings, chemical processing, cleanroom, or other regulated manufacturing environments.Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC), Design of Experiments (DOE), capability studies, and JMP software.
