Job Summary
Physical Therapist Inpatient (PT IP) position in Lubbock, Texas. This role involves providing inpatient physical therapy services within a short-term acute care setting. The position requires a dedicated professional capable of delivering high-quality patient care on day shifts, with an emphasis on supporting patients' recovery and rehabilitation needs.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid state license; at least 1 year of relevant experience; certification in Basic Life Support (BLS); familiarity with acute care, outpatient clinics, rehabilitation hospitals, and skilled nursing facilities; experience with assessment and evaluation; proficiency in bed alarms, call lights, gait training, and managing various surgical and neurological conditions.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in acute care environments, outpatient settings, or rehabilitation hospitals; prior experience with interdisciplinary teams.
• Additional Information: Candidates must have acute care experience; open to candidates with 8 or 10-hour shifts; travel compliance requirements apply. Candidates should be prepared to work a minimum of 40 hours weekly and commit to holiday coverage as specified. All scheduling and PTO requests must be communicated upfront.
• Travel and Certification Notes: At least 1 year of experience required; valid compact license in hand at the time of submission; no facility acceptance of Nursys or background check hits; return policy requires waiting 3 months before reapplication; candidates may be asked to float between nearby facilities as needed.
