RN 3A Trauma Full Time Days

Overview Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards. Position Details Shift: 7am-7pm rotating weekends. Weekend differential & shift differential for qualifying hours between 3pm-7am. Weekend option days: WEO rates + weekend differential. Weekend option nights: WEO rates + weekend differential + straight night shift differential. New increased weekend option differential: $10.00. Day-one comprehensive medical, dental & vision insurance. Paid time off/vacation: front-load up to 80 hours for experienced RNs for full-time only. Employer-matched retirement funds. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program. Personally responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current RN license within the hiring state; may hold compact licensure to meet all state board of nursing requirements. Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of the required course within 30 days of hire. Experience in a 33-bed unit, med-surg telemetry unit focusing on adult post-operative and trauma patients. Nurse-to-patient ratios are 5:1 on days and 6:1 at nights. Proficiency in head-to-toe assessments, telemetry strip reading, IV insertions, catheter, trach, and ostomy care, wound care, and chest tubes. #J-18808-Ljbffr
