Job Description

The purpose of this position will be to perform a very wide range of support functions within a government agency who acts as the executive agent for all 54 States and Territories. The purpose of this contract is to provide the necessary level of professional, technical, organizational, and business improvement and support services required to facilitate the overall objectives of the agency. This individual must be diligent, organized, and hold themselves to a high standard of professionalism while performing their work.

The contractor will be responsible for facility support and maintenance on numerous existing IT & IS systems within a Government Agency's environment. This includes both military and non-military IT systems as well as administrative to hands on installation/upgrade functions. A wide range of technical knowledge and experience will be necessary for success. The ideal candidate for this position will have the technical ability to accomplish the tasks as well as maintain a high level of professionalism at all times.

Location: Arlington, Virginia

Employment type & Duration: Contractor / 1 yr + 4 optional yrs

Security Clearance: Secret Required

Qualifications

The contractor will be responsible for facility support and maintenance on numerous existing IT & IS systems within a Government Agency's environment. This includes both military and non-military IT systems as well as administrative to hands on installation/upgrade functions. A wide range of technical knowledge and experience will be necessary for success. The ideal candidate for this position will have the technical ability to accomplish the tasks as well as maintain a high level of professionalism at all times.

  • Daily checks on systems such as Building Automation (BACnet), Department of Public Works (DPWnet), Calendar Management System (CMS), Distributed Antenna System (DAS), Electronic Security System (ESS), Facility Management System (FM:Interact), Vault, and 4-Clicks
  • Ensure structural and local compliance on new customer requests to AV & IT systems
  • Organize and conduct all end-user training on Facilities Management Interact (FM: Interact)
  • Attend scheduled meetings and provide feedback/recommendations to potential upgrades
  • Prepare and present Compliance Reports with respects to the systems
  • Perform Network Administrative functions on the non-military WiFi network as well as potential wiring and expansion of routers, switches, etc

• ProSidian Employee & Contractor Referral Bonus Program: ProSidian Consulting will pay up to 5k for all referrals employed for 90 days for candidates submitted through our Referral Program.

• Performance Incentives: Due to the nature of our consulting engagements there are performance incentives associated with each new client that each employee works to pursue and support.

• Flexible Spending Account: FSAs help you pay for eligible out-of-pocket health care and dependent day care expenses on a pre-tax basis. You determine your projected expenses for the Plan Year and then elect to set aside a portion of each paycheck into your FSA.

• Supplemental Life/ Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance : If you want extra protection for yourself and your eligible dependents, you have the option to elect supplemental life insurance. D&D covers death or dismemberment from an accident only.
