About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Information Officer (CIO) to serve as its senior IT leader, responsible for the creation, management, and direction of the IT vision, strategy, and roadmap. The CIO will lead the company's IT strategy, operations, and functions, with a focus on building and managing the infrastructure, technologies, cybersecurity services, and data to support digital transformation. This role involves directing the design, development, installation, and operation of academic and administrative information technology, ensuring data privacy and compliance, and driving innovative solutions to enhance teaching, learning, and administration. The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership for technology infrastructure, lead cybersecurity efforts, direct enterprise application development, and manage the IT budget. Candidates for the CIO position at the company should have 8 to 10 years' of experience in IT infrastructure management, cybersecurity, and leadership, with a strong background in network architecture, cloud computing platforms, and enterprise applications. A bachelor's degree is required, and a master's degree with professional certification is welcome. While experience in higher education is preferred, candidates from diverse backgrounds with a history of progressive leadership in IT at complex organizations are encouraged to apply. The role demands a leader who can work across multiple locations and with various stakeholders to implement and manage technology solutions effectively.
