About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Electrophysiology Lab Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years in specialty required. License: Compact or state license required at time of submission. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, EKG, NIH Stroke Scale required. Must-Have: - Critical Care/ICU experience - Electrophysiology Lab experience Description: Position involves working four 10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Some late shifts are required. Experience in a trauma-level 1 facility is preferred. Candidates must have critical care or ICU experience and specific experience in the electrophysiology lab. Skills required include end-tidal CO2 monitoring, antiarrhythmic administration, cardioversion, cardiac ablation, insertion and programming of AICDs, and interpretation/management of dysrhythmias. The nurse will be responsible for monitoring ventilated patients, managing IV vasopressors, and preparing for various electrophysiology procedures. Compliance with required certifications is mandatory. Candidates will float within the facility or to an affiliate hospital as needed. Additional preferred experience includes ECMO, TAVR, and Watchman procedures. Candidates should present any time-off requests at the time of submission. A minimum of one reference is required.
