Travel Coordinator with Security Clearance

As the Travel Coordinator, you will plan itineraries and schedule travel accommodations for employees using knowledge of routes, types of carriers and travel regulations. You will verify travel orders to ensure costs, availability, and convenience of different carrier options, notify personnel of travel dates, baggage, medical and visa requirements, and ensure all clearances have been obtained. You will assist personnel in completing travel forms, deliver personnel files and travel orders prior to departure, meet and inform arriving personnel of available facilities and housing, and arrange motor transportation for arriving or departing personnel. The role involves planning for complex itineraries with multiple modes of transport, frequent rerouting, and special allowances when necessary. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Assisting new employees with OCONUS travel Understanding client travel requirements and making appropriate travel recommendations Booking domestic and international travel arrangements as needed Performing travel expense reconciliations Providing excellent customer service and follow-up Delivering personnel files and travel orders prior to departure Arranging motor transportation for arriving or departing personnel QUALIFICATIONS 3-5 years of experience as a Travel Agent preferred Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience preferred Strong knowledge of airline reservation and travel management systems Proven experience coordinating and booking international travel itineraries Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook Maintain a positive, professional demeanor and perform effectively in fast-paced, high-volume operational environments SECURITY CLEARANCE TS/SCI with Poly.
