As the Facility Maintenance Technician, you will ensure the facility is maintained in a satisfactory condition for all required production and manufacturing operations. The maintenance technician is responsible for the upkeep of the facility and should have a variety of skills, such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry and HVAC certification.Core Job DutiesAssists with building inspections, procuring bids, building operations, leasing and projects, as neededTimely completion of work listsCheck HVAC, door, interior / exterior lighting, roof and general premises on a routine scheduleMaintain building systems including interior/exterior lighting, HVAC, thermostats, life safety and building security including fencingRepair mechanical equipment as directedKeep a log of maintenance performedElectrical including bulbs/ballast replacement, plumbing, painting and carpentry as requiredHave keys to every area, marked and organized and be knowledgeable of the various keysPatrol building exterior for garbageMaintain Landscaping vendorSnow/salt or other ground work as required (maintain snow plow vendor)Maintain HVAC contractorMaintain Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing contractorsMaintain an inventory list for janitorial, mechanical and electrical suppliesMove equipment, tools or supplies between properties as requiredErrands as required, including picking up supplies at various vendors as requiredAssist in roof maintenance repair work as neededTouch up painting and dry-wall patching as neededMiscellaneous trouble shooting and problem solvingMonitor utility usage and be responsible for building energy management (including but not limited to) the building automation systemUse protective hearing, eye-wear and shoes when necessaryProperly mark store purchase receipts and submit packets bi-weeklyProperly shred and dispose of facility wasteOther duties as necessaryRequired Experience, Education and Skills1-3 years of industrial building maintenance preferredAbility to read machine prints and perform machine repairAn ability to work well under pressureHands on experience in installation of piping systems (air, water, steam), industrial electrical installations and control circuitsRelevant technical knowledgeHVAC Certified (preferred)Experience in a production environment using mechanical, electrical and plumbing trouble-shooting skills; utility installations (electrical, steam, air, process piping) is a plusMust be able to tolerate exposure to dust and pollen due to the nature of working in a cultivation center.Must be able to drive a forklift, car, van, and truck.Environment will consist of office, indoor grow production, warehouse or distribution environment, as well as out-door elements on a frequent basis.Regularly required to crouch and reach to install/move equipment by bending forward at the waist or by bending legs and spine.Ability to stand, sit, kneel, and lift equipment or plants up to 50 lbs. for extended periods.Ability to perform the job duties in indoor and greenhouse climates of up to 90 degrees Fahrenheit.Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing and challenging environmentBenefitsCresco Labs is proud to offer eligible employees a robust offering of benefits including, major medical, dental and vision insurance, a 401(K)-match program, FSA/HSA programs, LTD/STD options, life insurance and AD&D.
