How You'll Make An Impact In This Role

• Provide Direct, High-Quality Care: You'll implement and manage care plans for a diverse patient load, closely monitoring and recording vital changes and communicating updates to the medical team in real-time.
• Drive Patient Flow: You'll work at the heart of the unit, executing physician and nursing orders with precision to ensure every patient receives timely treatment.
• Keep Care Moving: You will act as the primary clinical point of contact for your patients, ensuring all tests, treatments, and reassessments are completed efficiently to keep their care plan on track.
• Prepare Patients For The Next Step: Whether it's an admission or a safe trip home, you'll coordinate with the team to ensure discharge needs are met and the patient is ready for their next level of care.

What Minimum Requirements You'll Need

• Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire required.
