Marketing Assistant/ Digital Marketing/ Website

Westlake Financial is seeking a Marketing Associate to develop, plan, support, and implement marketing projects and activities for the Westlake group. The role coordinates and leads marketing initiatives to maintain consistent and powerful brand messaging. The Marketing Associate reports to the Marketing Manager. Responsibilities Cross‑organizational and integrated marketing communication pieces. Strategize, manage and coordinate projects with management, vendors, and contractors for the development and production of sales communication, events, promotional materials, website content/creative, and other projects. Provide writing and editing support for all outbound communications, including press releases, promotional materials, website content, and monthly releases. Creative thinking with a background in graphic design and video editing. Review and edit existing promotional materials for marketing effectiveness and adherence to brand guidelines. Plan, manage, and coordinate marketing and sales division events. On‑site position only – no remote work. Qualifications Intermediate or higher proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage projects effectively. Strong computer skills. General programming skills, including knowledge of statistical programs (e.g., SAS, SAP, SPSS, Matlab) and/or advanced database programs, is a plus. Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and video editing knowledge. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, XD) is highly desirable. Experience working on digital and traditional marketing projects is desired. A bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field is required. Minimum 2 years' experience in marketing preferred. Additional technical skills: HTML, WordPress, SQL, Salesforce Marketing Cloud or other email automation platforms, Excel, Chat GPT or other AI tools. Benefits Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits.
