In this essential role, you'll be at the forefront of patient care, reviewing vital signs and collaborating with healthcare providers to ensure our patients receive top-notch support. - Conduct thorough assessments of patient vitals, from blood pressure to heart rate, and document results meticulously for provider review.
- Partner with healthcare providers to manage remote patient data and ensure timely follow-ups for any abnormal readings.
- Energize communication between remote patients and healthcare providers, addressing inquiries with enthusiasm and guidance.
- Keep our electronic health records (EHR) organized and accurate, ensuring all patient information is up-to-date and compliant with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to craft and implement comprehensive patient care plans based on vital signs and clinical findings.
- Educate patients and fellow nurses on effective health monitoring techniques and the importance of accurate reporting for remote care.
- Assist in various administrative tasks related to patient care, managing communications, and essential reporting with flair!
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) is preferred.
- Previous experience in a clinical setting is a plus.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and vital sign assessment.
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems and other healthcare software.
- Exceptional communication skills—both verbal and written
- Excellent organizational skills
