ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a skilled ICU Registered Nurse to join our team. This position is focused on providing high-quality nursing care to patients with complex medical needs in a high-acuity environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients experiencing cardiovascular emergencies, multi-trauma situations, and other critical health conditions, including gunshot wounds, strokes, and motor vehicle accidents.
• Manage care for patients in a thrombectomy-capable stroke center and STEMI receiving facility.
• Administer advanced cardiac life support (ACLS), basic life support (BLS), and other life-saving measures as necessary.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes and facilitate smooth transitions of care.
• Utilize Epic for charting and documentation of patient information.
• Provide support in overflow units such as PCU and ICU as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU setting required.
• Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NIH Stroke Certification, and LA Fire Card.
• Strong neuro experience is a must, coupled with a background in critical care for cardiac and surgical patients.
• Ability to work effectively within a Magnet-designated facility.
• Floating between similar units may be required based on operational needs.

Schedule

This position offers night shifts with a schedule of three 12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00). Weekend shifts are not required.
