Locums | OB/GYN Hospitalist | Inpatient | Tucson, AZ ### Why This Role
- High-volume OB Hospitalist coverage at a major Arizona birthing center
- In-house night shift model with strong specialist and CNM support
- Ongoing long-term need with multiple providers requested
- Epic EMR environment with expedited credentialing available ### Assignment Details
- Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Only
- Setting: Inpatient OB Hospitalist
- Schedule: - Night shifts only - 7:00pm-7:00am - Approximately 5 shifts per month
- No call
- Start Date: June 2026
- Ongoing assignment
- Estimated Credentialing: 30 days
- EMR: Epic ### Requirements
- Board Certified OB/GYN
- Active Arizona license
- ACLS
- Clean NPDB, malpractice, and background strongly preferred
- Must be comfortable with: - High and low risk OB - C-sections - Breech deliveries - Multiple births - VBACs - FHR interpretation - OB ED coverage
- Travel preference for providers located no further east than: - ND, SD, NE, KS, OK, or TX### Clinical Details
- Extremely busy OB center with approximately 6,000 births annually
- In-house OB Hospitalist coverage model
- 24-bed department
- Average patient volume: 6-24 per shift
- Support includes: - 3 employed OB Hospitalists - 19 community OB/GYNs - 2 Maternal Fetal Medicine groups - 17 Certified Nurse Midwives - 15-20 RNs
- Inpatient-only responsibilities ### Community Details
