About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President of Tax to play a pivotal role in the strategic management of all tax-related activities, particularly those associated with domestic and international transactions, acquisitions, investments, and global structuring initiatives. The successful candidate will be a key advisor on complex tax matters, responsible for leading tax planning and execution, and ensuring that tax strategies align with the company's broader business objectives. This executive-level position demands a professional with extensive experience in transaction tax, international tax planning, and corporate structuring, ideally within high-growth, acquisitive organizations. The role also requires a strong background in supporting businesses with significant intellectual property assets, digital revenue streams, media operations, technology platforms, or entertainment-related activities. Key responsibilities for the Vice President of Tax at the company include advising on tax-efficient strategies, assessing transaction risks, and managing relationships with external tax advisors and legal counsel across multiple jurisdictions. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a CPA, JD, and/or Master's in Taxation strongly preferred, and approximately 12+ years of progressive tax experience. A proven track record in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and high-growth environment, as well as excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, are essential. The role also involves monitoring legislative and regulatory tax developments, partnering with executive leadership on tax forecasting, and establishing scalable tax processes to support the company's continued growth.
