Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CT Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, flexible Employment Type: Travel Job Title: CT Tech Job Summary: The CT Tech performs a variety of CT procedures using ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes. This position requires ingenuity, initiative, and independent judgment to perform high-quality scans. Required Qualifications: Demonstrates understanding of sectional anatomy, anatomic terminology, and positioning competency. Proficiency in operating CT equipment with a strong understanding of CT imaging techniques and protocols. Knowledge and understanding of protocols relating to contrast administration, including contrast injector operation as applicable. Proficiency with electronic imaging, including the ability to view, transfer, and manipulate images. Ability to recognize emergent patient situations and respond appropriately. Ability to function independently and as part of a team. Effective interaction and communication with other caregivers and patients. Ability to prioritize tasks. Maintains a clean, neat, and safe environment for patients and staff. Preferred Qualifications: One (1) – Two (2) years of CT experience. One (1) – Two (2) years of experience in a healthcare setting. Required Certifications & Licensure: Basic Life Support Certification (BLS). ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists ARRT (R). Licensure in the state of practice as applicable. Preferred Certifications & Licensure: Certified Computed Tomography Technologist - American Registry of Radiography Technologists ARRT (R)(CT).
