Associate Attorney

Practice Areas: Criminal Defense, Personal Injury, Civil Litigation Tyack Law Firm seeking an Associate Attorney to join our growing trial practice. This position offers hands‑on experience in criminal defense, personal injury, and civil litigation, with courtroom appearances, client interaction, legal research and writing, trial preparation, and trial. Responsibilities Represent clients in criminal defense, personal injury, and civil litigation matters. Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, memoranda, and other legal documents. Attend hearings, depositions, mediations, and court proceedings. Assist with trial preparation and participate in trials. Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, courts, experts, and witnesses. Review and analyze case files, evidence, medical records, and discovery materials. Travel to courts and related proceedings throughout the region as required. Maintain organized case management and meet litigation deadlines. Qualifications Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school. Licensed to practice law in Ohio or awaiting Ohio bar results. Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast‑paced environment. Courtroom, clerkship, internship, or trial advocacy experience is a plus. Salary commensurate with experience.
