Associate Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney for its Dublin, Ohio office. The firm is recognized for its expertise in creditor's rights and operates across multiple states. The role involves handling a high volume of cases and requires strong communication skills. Duties Draft and review legal documents including summons, complaints, and settlement agreements. Prepare and file litigation motions and responses as needed. Communicate with attorneys, employers, and consumers to resolve accounts and suits. Review lawsuits and legal pleadings for new and ongoing cases. Attend hearings, trials, and depositions. Requirements Licensed to practice law in the State of Ohio. Additional licensing in other states is welcomed. Ability to appear in court consistently and punctually. Willingness to travel, with reimbursement for approved expenses. Strong multitasking, verbal, and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Education: Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certification: Licensed to practice law in Ohio. Skills Strong legal drafting and review skills. Effective communication and negotiation abilities. Proficient in legal research and case management.
