Cycle Counter - 2nd Shift

Position The Cycle Counter is responsible for ensuring a high level of accuracy of inventory levels in the distribution center by performing cycle counts daily, weekly and quarterly, and resolving any and all discrepancies in a timely manner. Key Responsibilities Compile a list of items to be counted. Complete physical inventories, cycle counts, random or receipt audits, and reconciliations on a daily, monthly or quarterly basis. Resolve inventory issues in a timely manner. Research inventory discrepancies, including variances in usage and cost. Analyze whether the variances are acceptable or need investigation and correction. Perform inventory computer transactions in the appropriate business software. Utilize order pickers and other P.I.T. equipment in the execution of counting locations. Utilize RF guns to execute counting and investigate inventory variances and inventory reconciliation. Adhere to all safety procedures and standards within the course of performing job tasks. Qualifications High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent. 1+ years of work experience in a distribution center environment (highly preferred). Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Familiarity with warehouse management systems (preferred). Previous experience in cycle counting (highly desired). Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide. Ability to accurately count product and convert counts into bottles or cases. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Excellent attention to detail. Strong analytical skills. Ability to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations, as required by law. Compensation Hourly competitive starting pay: $22.93 per hour with a $1.00 shift differential for 2nd shift positions. Shift: Tuesday - Friday, 7 PM - 5:30 AM. Work Environment & Physical Demands The distribution center environment includes extreme cold and heat, working near moving mechanical equipment such as forklifts or hi‑lifts, exposure to fumes or airborne particles, chemicals, moderate to loud noise levels, and the need to lift up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception. Employees must sit, stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, and lift regularly up to 25 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
