Maintenance Assistant

Job Summary: The Maintenance Assistant supports a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents by performing routine maintenance and repairs. This role plays an important part in resident care by ensuring the facility is well‑maintained and treating residents with dignity and respect. Key Responsibilities: Perform basic repairs (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc.) Complete regular maintenance and safety checks Respond quickly to maintenance requests Maintain clean, safe work areas and equipment Assist with room setups and facility changes Interact respectfully with residents and support their well‑being through quality work Follow all safety and emergency procedures Qualifications: High school diploma or GED Maintenance or handyman experience preferred Ability to safely use hand and power tools Respectful, courteous attitude toward residents and staff Must pass background and health screenings Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform hands‑on work #J-18808-Ljbffr Hope's Creek Retirement Living
