Cnc setup machinist

The CNC Setup Machinist is a mid-level position to perform lathe and mill machine setups. Manufacture parts within a cell with multiple machines to exacting blueprint dimensions and ensure 100%-part quality. This is a Full-Time Permanent positin with our client. salary: $62,400 - $83,200 per year

Responsibilities

• Setup CNC Milling and Multitasking Machines.
• Editing programs on Fanuc Controls.
• Performing tool changes, machine set-ups and program modifications.
• Utilizing precision measuring instruments including micrometers, calipers and depth gauges.
• Reading blueprints, diagrams, drawing and sketches to produce high quality and close tolerance parts.
• Detecting defects, performing quality assurance and troubleshooting malfunctions.
• Maintaining a safe and clear work area.
• Performing minor preventative maintenance on machines.
