Registered Nurse

The position involves providing comprehensive quality nursing care and telemetry monitoring to patients with cardiovascular conditions. Responsibilities include focusing on the care of Heart Failure patients. Nursing care includes continuous EKG monitoring and/or continuous oxygen saturation monitoring via telemetry. Administration of specific intravenous and oral medications for cardiac conditions and arrhythmias is required. RNs will prepare and send patients for cardiac interventions, various surgeries, diagnostic tests, and other procedures. Holistic care must be provided to meet the physical, emotional, psychological, spiritual, and cultural needs of each patient and their family. Weekend coverage is needed every other weekend. Flexibility in scheduling is expected. Floating to other units as needed is required.
