Job Title

Registered Nurse – Med Surg / IMC / PCU / Stepdown (36hr Day/Night Rotating)

Location

Newton, MA

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 36 hours per week | Day/Night Rotating Shifts | Three 12-hour shifts per week (7:00a–7:30p and 7:15p–7:15a) | Holiday and weekend rotations required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Med Surg / IMC / PCU / Stepdown setting across rotating day and night shifts
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Monitor and document patient condition, vital signs, and response to treatment
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Participate in holiday and weekend shift rotations as scheduled

Required Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts
• Experience in a Med Surg, IMC, PCU, or Stepdown clinical environment
• Ability to work rotating day and night 12-hour shifts
• Availability for holiday and weekend rotations
• Current BLS certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an intermediate care or progressive care unit setting
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills in a fast-paced inpatient environment
