Behavior Technician (BT)

We’re seeking a Behavioral Technician looking for an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a unique setting. Position Types Available: Full-Time Qualifications: High School Diploma Specialized knowledge in Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) Experience working with children, preferably special needs preferred Proven ability to work within a team, leadership and problem solving abilities Strong core values, such as integrity, loyalty, trust, leadership, team work are required Exhibits positive and proactive approaches to problem solving Bachelor’s degree preferred Why work with Care Options for Kids? Unlimited opportunity for professional development Insurance available first day of month following hire date 401K Plan Generous Paid Time Off (PTO) Employee Referral Program Industry-leading on the job training provided by RBTs and BCBAs Responsibilities and Duties: Implements and carries out processes and procedures to improve the quality of life of clients as it relates to their individual behavior support plan Actively participates in staff training programs designed to increase overall skills, including but not limited to Registered Behavior Technician training Communicates in a professional and respectful manner with management, parents, behavior analysts, Lead RBT, technicians and clients Becomes fluent in the understanding and application of each child’s Behavior Support Plan Observes records, and reports the condition and behavior of the clients, including maintaining daily records Other duties as assigned.
