Sr Manager Accounting / Controller

Controller/Sr Mgr Accounting opening reporting to the VP Finance (#1 finance). He is looking for a true "right-hand person" to manage a staff of two and oversee all accounting functions for a highly profitable company. About the opening:

The Ideal Profile:

• Public/private professional with 6–10 years of progressive experience.
• Supervisory or mentoring exprience preferred 
• Ability to drive financial performance
• Communication skills; this position will be a business partner poviding financial insights shaping, influencing executive decision making
• Added Pluses: Experience with capital structures, debt refinancing, stock comp, M&A, and/or working within a PE-backed environment

salary: $145,000 - $155,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Strategic Partnership: Serve as the VP Finance's core operational partner, balancing daily general ledger execution with working capital optimization and multi-entity consolidations.
• Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and develop a dedicated team of two accounting professionals.
• Systems Ownership: Optimize financial workflows and drive scalability within the company's  ERP environment.
• Core Accounting: Fully own the month-end/year-end close process, financial statement preparation, cash flow management, and internal controls.
