Responsibilities
- Carry out assigned tasks on patient assignments and follow care plans.
- Perform delegated tasks as instructed by the RN.
- Bathe patients, assist with showers and partial baths as appropriate.
- Help patients maintain personal hygiene and assist with all aspects of activities of daily living.
- Report changes in patient conditions to supervising RN.
Qualifications
- Completion of approved Certified Home Health Aide training program.
- Certification as a Certified Home Health Aide in NJ.
- 1 year of experience in a home health or hospice setting.
- 1 year of full-time experience in direct client care in an institutional setting (hospital or nursing facility).
- A compassionate attitude toward the care of the sick;
- Ability to read, write and carry out instructions in English
