Responsibilities:

• Support Oracle OMS and eSRI based GIS Environment & Databases
• OMS and GIS related Linux/Windows server requests built to client standards
• Performance monitoring and optimization of all ArcGIS/ArcFM Environments
• Maintaining sync jobs and reporting failures to the Application PoCs
• Support build deployments
• Maintain configuration stores
• Provide ongoing database maintenance, including optimizing databases for specific applications
• Update database software as required
• SDE compress and rebuild index
• Maintaining growth, scalability, tasks and schedules
• Data synchronization and replication
• Maintenance of current editing workflows and version architecture
• Maintain client enterprise geospatial data models for Gas and Electric (versioned and non versioned datasets)
• Maintain the Esri ArcGIS Enterprise (10.6.1) and planned migrations

Experienced managing Geographic Information Systems (ArcGis, MapInfo, Oracle Spatial), SAP, Oracle Applications, Oracle Fusion Middleware, MySQL, DB2 and SQL Server.

• Installation, configuration, upgrade and management of GIS (ESRI's AcrSDE, ArcFM, ArcIMS applications on Windows and Unix servers.
• Created and managed ArcGIS user accounts, instances, services and permissions.
• Designed and managed SDE-Oracle database storage according to vendors recommended best practices. Configured dbtune file for Arcsde.
• Designed and deployed disaster recovery plan for SDE servers, and Oracle databases using combinations of RMAN, export/import, Data Pump, Online, and cold backups.
