A culture worth showing off.UrbanCore Construction runs two divisions: Multifamily, which builds affordable and multifamily housing across Virginia, and Special Projects, which takes on commercial work across a wide range of building types. We just finished a full rebrand that includes new identity, new standards, new everything. Now we need somebody to actually put it into the world.That's part of this job. The other half is pointed inward. Reporting straight to our CEO, this is an individual-contributor role with no direct reports, but real ownership from day one. You'll own how we communicate with our own people, plan the events our employees and their families actually look forward to, and build a video engine that puts our crews on screen. Not stock footage. Our people, our sites, our work.We run on EOS, we hold each other to numbers, and we mean the words on our wall: Always do the right thing. No excuses. Amazing customer experience. Have fun.What you'll own▪ Internal communication - newsletters, all-hands materials, onboarding, and recognition that reaches the crews, not just the office▪ Employee and family events - family days, cookouts, holiday parties, service awards, and tailgates people actually want to come to▪ The brand rollout - website, proposals, collateral, jobsite signage, trailers, vehicles, apparel, and social...until nothing legacy is left in circulation▪ The video engine - shooting, editing, and publishing content on our culture, crews, projects, and recruiting▪ Marketing for both divisions - the plan, the budget, RFP and RFQ responses, and our external eventsWhat we're looking for▪ 3–5 years in marketing; construction, real estate, development, or professional services is a plus▪ Real, professional-grade video skills - you don't just know your way around a camera, you can walk onto an active jobsite, get the shot, and turn it into something polished enough to publish the same day (use what is your preference (e.g., Premiere or Final Cut) - looking for someone with real editing chops, not just phone-app filters)▪ Design chops and brand discipline: Adobe Creative Suite or Canva, plus CMS, email, and social tools▪ Someone who connects easily with field crews and executives alike, and can throw a great party▪ Four-year degree preferred, driver's license required, and a willingness to be on jobsites most weeksWhy UrbanCore▪ The work matters...every project we finish is housing someone can actually afford▪ You get a brand-new brand and the authority to launch it your way▪ You report directly to the CEO - no layers between your idea and a decision▪ A company growing fast across multifamily, special projects, development, custom homes, and property management▪ Benefits and PayAnnual salary of $85,000 - $105,000 per year, plus annual bonus.Employee Health Coverage, 100% paid by the company.401K with Company Match of 100% up to 3%, and 50% up to 5%.Flexible time offTo apply: Submit your application and résumé along with two or three videos you shot and edited yourself - phone footage is fine, we care about the eye, not the gear. UrbanCore Construction is an equal opportunity employer.
