This role works directly under the CLM Product Owner to document business processes, gather and translate requirements, support platform configuration activities, drive user adoption, and ensure the Agiloft CLM platform continues to deliver business value post-implementation.This is a hands-on, execution-focused role — the analytical and process engine that enables the CLM Product Owner to focus on strategy, roadmap, and stakeholder leadership. The CLM BA is detail-oriented, platform-savvy, and comfortable operating at the intersection of business process and technology.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesBusiness Process Documentation & AnalysisDocument current-state and future-state CLM business processes using process maps, swim lane diagrams, and SOPsIdentify process gaps, inconsistencies, and improvement opportunities across contract workflowsMaintain the CLM process library, governance documentation, and standard operating proceduresSupport process redesign efforts in preparation for platform enhancements or workflow changesRequirements Gathering & TranslationFacilitate requirements gathering sessions with business stakeholders across Legal, Procurement, Finance, and OperationsTranslate business requirements into clear, structured platform requirements and user storiesMaintain and groom the CLM product backlog in coordination with the CLM Product OwnerSupport sprint planning, user acceptance testing (UAT), and release documentationPlatform Support & AdoptionServe as a day-to-day resource for CLM platform questions, user issues, and process guidanceDevelop and maintain user training materials, job aids, and quick reference guidesSupport onboarding of new CLM users and business unitsTrack and report on platform utilization and adoption metricsCoordinate with the third-party solution architect on configuration updates and issue resolutionReporting & AnalyticsBuild and maintain CLM dashboards and reporting outputs for the CLM Product Owner and senior leadershipAnalyze contract data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvementSupport compliance and obligation management reporting as neededRequirements:Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Supply Chain, or related field or equivalent work experience2 - 5 years of experience in business analysis, process documentation, or enterprise platform supportExperience working with enterprise software platforms from the business or analyst sideStrong business process documentation skills — process maps, SOPs, workflow diagramsProficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, Visio, and PowerPointStrong written communication skills — able to produce clear, structured documentationDetail-oriented with strong organizational and follow-through skillsRequired experience is commensurate with the selected job level:The Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor's degree and 2-5 years of relevant job related experienceThe Senior Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor's degree and 5-8 years of relevant job related experienceThe Lead Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of relevant job related experiencePreferred QualificationsExperience with Agiloft, Icertis, Conga, DocuSign CLM, or comparable CLM or procurement platformFamiliarity with Agile delivery and product backlog managementCBAP, PMI-PBA, or equivalent business analysis certificationExperience in energy, midstream, or industrial sectorExposure to Legal Operations, contract management, or procurement processesKey CompetenciesBusiness process analysis and documentationRequirements gathering and translationPlatform support and user enablementAttention to detail and structured thinkingCollaborative, service-oriented work styleWorking Conditions:The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.Usually, normal office working conditionsMust be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standingOccasional overnight travel may be required.
