(USA) Facilities Maintenance Manager, Licensed Mechanical Contractor

Overview Position: Licensed Manager, Facilities Maintenance Operations. Oversee predictive and preventative maintenance of Walmart facilities within a regional area. Lead a team of technicians to ensure buildings operate efficiently and safely for associates and customers. Responsibilities Travel approximately 50% or more within the region. Collaborate with Store Managers and Facility Services Leadership on facility services needs. Engage with vendors and contractors as needed. Reporting and analytics of maintenance activities. Maintain up-to-date contractor licenses to stay in good standing with authorities. Participate in training to stay informed of regulatory requirements and perform site inspections to monitor compliance and quality standards. Obtain and schedule inspections and permits as required by mechanical or building codes when applicable. Qualifications Hard Skills – General facilities services/building maintenance experience (3–5 years preferred); electrical, plumbing, or mechanical experience; leadership; strong communication; problem solving; customer service. Soft Skills – EPA Universal Certification; PMP Certification; Lean Six Sigma; maintain Mechanical Contractor license in the state of employment.
