Benefits 401k – eligible after 90 days of employment and at least 18 years of age Summary A Electrical Trades Instructor or Faculty member cultivates the school’s mission and objectives through student instruction, guidance, and review to ensure the successful academic program and personal development of each student. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive course instruction within the specified program. Provide active input in course development (course descriptions, syllabus creation, textbook material, and equipment review) to the Program Director/Director of Education. Create and revise daily lesson plans. Continue professional growth by attending in‑service training, continuing education seminars, and faculty meetings. Keep accurate records of student attendance and academics. Foster a classroom environment that supports academic growth and professional development. Report student progress and performance trends to the DOE, including using academic advisement and early warning forms. Provide extra help to students struggling with course work. Advising minor student issues and referring major problems to the Program Director/Director of Education. Correct and return quizzes, tests, and lab assignments within 48 hours. Utilize instructional and audiovisual aids and available online resources. Arrange guest speakers, field trips, and community service events to demonstrate community resource utilization. Report damaged, broken, or malfunctioning equipment immediately to the Program Director/Director of Education. Submit grades within 48 hours of term end. Perform additional duties as required by the Program Director/Director of Education. Enhance curriculum by devising assignments, worksheets, notes, tests, answer keys, and activities. Compliance Demonstrate knowledge of and carefully follow all applicable federal, state, and internal compliance requirements and regulations. Effectively communicate compliance requirements to staff and promptly report concerns to the Compliance department. Qualifications Electrical Trades Technology Requirements High school diploma or GED required. At least 3 years of verifiable experience in residential, commercial, or industrial electrical work, alarm systems, or control systems. Prior teaching experience preferred. Work Environment / Physical Demands On-campus position with occasional remote work. Home office setup, quiet workspace, and high‑speed internet connectivity may be required. May require computer equipment setup; accommodations available upon request. Compensation Anticipated salary: $33‑$37 USD per hour based on experience and qualifications.
