Job Overview:

The Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Commercial Materials Testing Project Manager oversees highway construction materials testing projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications, QA/QC standards, and material testing procedures while managing project execution, client coordination, and field and laboratory testing activities.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee QA/QC activities and ensure compliance with project specifications and material testing procedures.
• Review construction plans, specifications, and interpret material test results.
• Coordinate with project engineers, contractors, and clients to resolve construction and testing issues.
• Supervise laboratory and field-testing activities for soil, concrete, and asphlt.
• Attend pre-construction meetings, inspect ongoing construction work, and monitor project progress.  

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Engineering Technology (or equivalent experience).
• Hands-on experience of construction project management.
• Hands-on experience of laboratory testing, construction materials testing, material inspection
• NICET Certification and Valid Driver's License.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Experience managing highway, bridge, or transportation construction projects.
• Knowledge of ASTM, AASHTO, and DOT standards.
