Position Summary Do you have a knack for helping people, following recipes, and organization? Our prepared meal and rotisserie chicken associates prepare fresh food items daily for our members by following recipes and preparing our always warm and ready rotisserie chicken. We also properly wrap, label, and store merchandise so that members have fresh items to take home. You will juggle multiple tasks while helping members with bakery orders. Your smile can make the difference between a good shopping experience and a great one. You won’t just prepare fresh food—you’ll help a family have a great meal. What You’ll Do Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise; collaborate with cross-functional teams; educate other associates on tools, tasks and resources; communicate effectively with teammates; and be flexible to the needs of the business to work in other areas. Prepare food according to item specifications; understand and plan future productions and mass productions; prepare for seasonality; adhere to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance and inventory management; operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment; and demonstrate an understanding of product and layout execution. Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; utilize handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them. Drive the performance of the area; manage high exposure and expectations; stock and rotate merchandise; ensure quality and date control standards; eliminate waste; guide peers; provide attention to customer needs; and assist customers according to company policies and procedures. Advocate for the department and the club by valuing the member experience in the meat area and modeling high quality service and products; execute the basics at the highest possible level of quality; and exhibit energy, commitment, and passion for the work. Keep shelves clean, maintain temperature control, verify expiration dates, and dispose of lower‑quality food products. Prepare and serve ready‑to‑eat food. Maintain the sales floor in accordance with company policies and procedures by properly handling claims and returns, zoning the area, arranging and organizing merchandise, and identifying shrink and damages. Maintain a clean, sanitized, and member‑ready area. Minimum Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older. Successfully complete all job required trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period. Preferred Qualifications Food Service Food Handler Certification (Food Safety).
