Tractor Trailer Technician

Responsibilities will include:Perform diagnosis, repair and maintenance of fleet including electrical and brakesAir brakes diagnostics and repairs.Diagnosing, repairing, or replacing electrical and air systems on trailers; body and rail repairs.Write itemized \"story\" to summarize each repair performed.Follow all DOT, State & Federal requirements and company standards.Use effective interpersonal skills to maintain positive working relationships with internal and external customersGood mechanical aptitude and work ethic neededContribute to the goals of the shop, leadership team and companyProperly clocks on and off applicable repair orders and repair segments.Minimum Qualifications & Requirements:Class A CDLA high school diploma or GED is preferred2-5 years of mechanic experience on heavy-duty trucksMust have a Valid Driver's LicenseMust pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical and background checkMust be authorized to work in the United StatesPhysical Demands/Working Conditions:Regularly required to use hands to handle materials, reach with hands and arms, and talk and hear.Regularly lift objects up to 50 lbs.Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. #J-18808-Ljbffr Dart-Safety-Lane
