Looking for an employer who believes in supporting your professional development?This job is for you!Sanimax is seeking an experienced Fleet Mechanic to join our South St-Paul team for the day shiftWhy Join Sanimax?Salary starts from $28/hr to $40/hr (based of experience)Comprehensive benefits package, including Health, Dental, and Vision coverage401(k) plan with company match up to 5%Quarterly performance bonus of up to 3%Consistent weekday schedule supporting strong work-life balanceJoin a well-established, environmentally responsible company with over 85 years of industry leadershipAs a Fleet Mechanic you are responsible for:Perform pre-inspections on all fleet equipment to ensure safety and road readinessDiagnose, repair, and maintain trucks and trailers, with a focus on end-dump equipmentConduct routine maintenance and light repairs on yard equipmentUtilize diagnostic tools to accurately identify mechanical and electrical issuesPerform welding and metal fabrication tasks (MIG welding preferred)Complete work orders and maintain accurate service records in a timely mannerExecute preventive maintenance in compliance with DOT regulationsCollaborate closely with the Transportation team to ensure fleet reliability and operational efficiencyExperience Preferred:Previous experience in trailer repair and maintenance strongly preferredMIG welding experience requiredAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionStrong mechanical aptitude with excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsWorking knowledge of DOT standards and preventive maintenance practicesGive meaning to your career and help us make a difference: become a transformation champion!Thank you for your interest in joining our team.
