Role Description The Project Management Intern role is a part-time, on-site position based in Chino, CA. The intern will assist project managers with planning, organizing, and tracking electrical and data infrastructure projects, including updating schedules, preparing documentation, and monitoring project progress. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating with field teams and office staff, supporting communication with vendors and clients, and helping ensure that materials, timelines, and deliverables are aligned with project requirements. The intern will also help maintain project files, compile reports, and contribute to process improvements under the guidance of senior team members. This position is designed to provide hands‑on experience in project delivery within the electrical and communications contracting industry. Qualifications Enrollment in or completion of coursework in engineering, construction management, business, or a related field. Candidates should possess strong analytical skills to interpret project data, identify issues, and support data-driven decisions. Candidates should possess effective communication skills to collaborate with project managers, field personnel, and external stakeholders. Candidates should possess foundational project management and program management skills to assist in coordinating tasks and resources. Candidates should possess basic project planning skills to help develop schedules, track milestones, and support project documentation. Additional beneficial qualifications include proficiency with MS Office or similar tools, attention to detail, strong organizational abilities, and an interest in electrical or construction-related industries. Previous construction or internship experience preferred. Highly motivated with a tendency to take initiative. Good organizational skills. The starting hourly base pay for this role is $20 per hour.
