About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Compliance to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the Compliance Management System and internal audit program, ensuring the effectiveness of regulatory compliance programs across all business lines, and serving as a key advisor to senior management on regulatory risk and emerging compliance trends. This role involves monitoring changes in laws and regulations, maintaining up-to-date operating guidelines, and overseeing the review and approval of marketing materials and product changes for regulatory compliance. The Vice President of Compliance will also be involved in developing and implementing compliance education programs, as well as overseeing consumer and lending compliance programs. Applicants for the Vice President of Compliance position at the company should have a strong background in regulatory compliance, including knowledge of AML laws and regulations. The role requires the ability to analyze and interpret government regulations, as well as a general knowledge of banking core lines of businesses and their processes. The ideal candidate will be adept at utilizing spreadsheet and word processing software and have the ability to analyze complex data based on audit and compliance trends. Responsibilities also include acting as a liaison between internal auditors and the credit union, tracking and remediating audit and compliance issues, and promoting a strong culture of compliance throughout the organization.
