Description The Medical Assistant-Registered (MA-R) in the Stepful MA-R to MA-C bridge program works under the delegation of a licensed practitioner to perform duties as directed to assist in providing patient care to assigned patients. A Journey MA-R performs all aspects of the Associate MA-R role and is fully competent in the clinical needs/functions for assigned clinic/location of work. A Journey MA-R is expected to perform in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations. MA-Rs in the Stepful MA-R to MA-C bridge program are also enrolled with Stepful through the entirety of the program and are required to attend virtual classes and complete coursework. Diploma or GED General Washington Medical Assistant Registration within 60 days of hire National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire Preferred Qualification: Coursework/Training: Medical Assistant, Medical Office Assistant, Medical Secretary, Health Unit Coordinator/Clerk, Nursing Assistant, or Phlebotomist. 6 months of Healthcare experience Why Join Providence?
