Compensation We Offer
- The initial compensation for this position ranges from $31.40 - $38.61 per hour.
- Salary is dependent on commensurate experience above the minimum qualifications for the role and internal equity considerations.
- The salary may also vary if you reside in a different location than the location posted.
- 8% License Differential for LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, PsyD. and select Peer Certifications.*
- 7.5% Bilingual Differential for qualified positions*

About our Program: Rising Families program will deliver a series of culturally responsive parenting support groups designed to strengthen family functioning and reduce risk factors associated with child welfare and juvenile justice involvement. The program serves families facing complex challenges such as housing instability, substance use, and domestic violence, with a focus on communities disproportionately impacted by these stressors, including Latinx, Asian, and African-ancestry families. Group-based services are tailored by child age range and cultural and linguistic needs to ensure relevance, accessibility, and meaningful engagement. Participants receive structured aftercare supports to reinforce learning, promote continued skill development, and identify emerging needs. Through community-based outreach and relationship-centered engagement, the program builds trust, promotes sustained participation, and fosters lasting peer connections, with the overarching goal of enhancing parenting capacity, family stability, and long-term well-being.
Under general supervision, implements the Addiction Prevention Services (APS) at one or more of the following settings: designated schools, in the community, with the family, or on site at and agency campus. Fulfills a role in the collaboration and communication between the Agency and the assigned school or program and its respective Supervisor. The APS II has the ability to provide Level I & II prevention activities.
Responsibilities: Serves as an active participant in providing Pacific Clinics APS services with the school or programs core team (or equivalent) for clients referred to APS.
Works in collaboration with the referral source to identify and provide relevant presentation to groups (e.g., students, parents, teachers, support staff) as appropriate.
Co-leads APS groups following the designated curriculum.
Receives, reviews, and processes referrals of clients as necessary. Screens each client referred for APS services with the support of the Supervisor/Manager.
Provides referral sources for clients and families for services at one or more locations, such as: on site, school, or in the community
Initiates and receives written consent for each participant.
Completes outcome measures and evaluation of program.
Collects all required documentation, such as progress notes, activity notes, evaluations, outcome measures, closing referrals and recommendations, weekly performance reports, and notes on drop in visits.
Provides initial evaluations, recommendations, and follow up (including recourses) at the completion of each group.
Performs other related responsibilities, as assigned, to support specific department/business needs.

- Bachelor's Degree (B.A./B.S.) in Mental Health or a related fieldand one (1) year of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience (two years of relevant experience equals one year of education)
- Drug and Alcohol training and experience required or CAADAC (California Association of Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors) certification.
