Staff Pharmacist

Immediate need for a talented Staff Pharmacist. This is a 06+ Months Contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Byfield, MA (Hybrid). Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location). Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret physicians' prescriptions and compound and dispense medications within regulatory guidelines.
• Consult with customers regarding medication usage and potential drug interactions.
• Counsel customers and handle complex problem resolution.
• Perform first and second verification of prescription orders and conduct Drug Utilization Reviews (DURs).
• Engage in outreach to prescriber offices and field phone calls from patients and prescribers.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• At least 1 year as a registered pharmacist, with retail or similar experience preferred.
• Requires a valid RPh license.
• BS in Pharmacy or Pharm D.
• Experience in a retail pharmacy setting.
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to work efficiently.
